    It looks nice, sets well and collects water. Thanks why you buy it and that's what you expect. The top is closed with just a small hole for drainage so it really is a plantar. You have to use the gutter kit to actually collect water.

    Maybe overall size with the planter 50gallon but no way this holds 50 gallons of water. Also has a flat back side that you can’t tell from the picture. Much smaller than a standard 55 gallon barrel.

    We ordered this in January but only attempted to set it up now that the weather has warmed. The barrel we got does not match the directions or the pieces we got with it. It is amusing to look at with the planter top but I am wondering how useful it will actually be. There is no way to hold the hose up off the ground so we will have to make something ourselves.
    The return window has closed so we have to figure out how to alter it and set it up on our own.
