Is my data secure and reliable when stored in the cloud?
Worried about privacy? Install Home Assistant locally — data stays at home. No local server? IoT access works too. Cloud retains data for 36 months, with export to local machine for permanent storage or secondary analysis.
If the hardware is installed incorrectly, do I need to hire an electrician to reinstall it?
If the CT direction is reversed, it can be corrected via software — no need to call an electrician. We recommend performing a test run on Device Web after installation. The data will help verify if the wiring is correct, avoiding rework.
Where can I get a Home Assistant model?
You can choose between the eMonHub-HA or eMonHub-HA20 — both come with Home Assistant pre-installed. If you already purchased the IoT version, you can switch to the Home Assistant version by updating the firmware — no need to buy a new device.
I have multiple electrical panels with several Units installed. Can the data be managed together?
Yes. For users with main and sub-panels, you can add two or more eMonHub devices to the same site. All data will then be integrated and managed together under that single site.
How does eMonHub work?
Installs in your home’s electrical panel using CT clamps on mains and circuits to monitor. DIY guide included, but a professional electrician is highly recommended. Once set up, monitor energy usage anytime, anywhere via web or mobile app.

INSTALLS IN CIRCUIT PANEL & 7×24 MONITORING:Electric panel monitor, it is a circuit monitor and supports working in the standard residential split-phase power system in North America. Single-phase single wire and three-phase power systems(TN/TT) can also be supported through software configuration changes. No need for physical CT reinstallation,the measurement inaccuracy from reversed CTs installation can be corrected via software configuration.
