Will this solar kit work with my battery, and do I need to manually set the voltage?

Yes. The 30A controller auto-detects 12V/24V systems and supports LiFePO4, Lithium, GEL, Flooded, and AGM batteries. No manual setup is needed. Wire the panels in parallel for 12V systems, or in series for 24V systems.

Can I permanently mount these panels on my RV roof, and what about heavy rain?

Yes. The panels feature an IP68 waterproof rating and reinforced aluminum frame, ideal for permanent outdoor mounting in any weather. However, the 30A controller is not waterproof and must be installed indoors or in a dry compartment.
